ALERT The iLab Core Management System functionality should only be minimally impacted by the transition to Workday when system changes are implemented on January 10th. Service requests, reservations, and forms will remain the same and requested services can be performed by the core facilities as usual except for the Saturday January 17th outage. (hide this warning on this page)The Cardiovascular iPSC Core will provide cutting-edge iPSC services to research teams across MCW’s campus to facilitate translational research from preclinical animal and cell models into human cells and tissues.
Summary of Services Offered:
o Human iPSC reprogramming from peripheral blood monocytes or fibroblasts (skin biopsy)
o Human iPSC cell line differentiation services into endothelial cells, cardiomyocytes, or vascular smooth muscle cells
o iPSC CRISPR gene knockout/knock-in or single nucleotide editing
o Premade cell products from bank or select validated external sources
o Methodological development (e.g. organoids, additional cell types)
o Training for laboratory staff and pre/post-doctoral trainees on these methodologies
