The Cardiovascular iPSC Core will provide cutting-edge iPSC services to research teams across MCW’s campus to facilitate translational research from preclinical animal and cell models into human cells and tissues.
Summary of Services Offered:
o Human iPSC reprogramming from peripheral blood monocytes or fibroblasts (skin biopsy)
o Human iPSC cell line differentiation services into endothelial cells, cardiomyocytes, or vascular smooth muscle cells
o iPSC CRISPR gene knockout/knock-in or single nucleotide editing
o Premade cell products from bank or select validated external sources
o Methodological development (e.g. organoids, additional cell types)
o Training for laboratory staff and pre/post-doctoral trainees on these methodologies
