The Cardiovascular Academic Initiative (CAI) is an organized clinical/translational initiative to focus and support the cardiovascular academic missions and intertwine them with the clinical missions of MCW.
Strategic Objectives:
(1) Create collaborative spaces for innovation in cardiovascular research and clinical care
(2) Facilitate the translation of cardiovascular research between basic sciences, early human studies, and clinical practice
(3) Train the next generation of leaders in cardiovascular research and education
