The Thermo LTQ Orbitrap Velos (Watson) and the Thermo Orbitrap Fusion Lumos (Porter) are now part of the Translational Metabolomics Shared Resource core effective July 1st, 2024. Please reach out to Michaela Pereckas (mpereckas@mcw.edu) for information about using those resources in the new core.

The Thermo LTQ self-service instrument will still be available for walk up service through this core. Please contact Austin Schoen (aschoen@mcw.edu) for more information.

The Biochemistry Self-Service Mass Spectrometry is a shared equipment Thermo LTQ Mass Spectrometer for walk-up use for peptide and protein analysis.

Location

The Thermo LTQ Mass Spectrometer is located in the modern Translational and Biomedical Research Center (TBRC) Building which is connected via skywalk to the Basic Science and Medical Education Buildings.
