MCW Tissue Bank

Overview & Services

The MCW Tissue Bank is an institutional core that provides research services involving human samples to faculty investigators.  The Tissue Bank is a CAP-accredited biorepository, which ensures high-quality samples, vetted protocols and standard operating procedures, and knowledgeable, well-trained staff.  The Bank offers robust consent programs to patients of Froedtert Hospitals and clinics, including the General Tissue Bank, the Maternal Bank, the COVID-19 Bank.  In addition to providing tissues and other biospecimens to researchers, the Bank also provides a wealth of services associated with human samples; storage and processing among many.

    • Custom 7-color multiplex immunostaining panels
